waste for waste December 30, 2008 A. Hydo (Ga United States) My wife bought a similar one. Baby girl doesn't know the difference of warm wipes or room temperature wipes. Big waste of money initially, big waste on electricity.
A waste of money and way over priced! December 27, 2008 N. Wimmert (Ann Arbor, MI) This wipe warmer is a waste of money. First of all, it does not even keep the wipes that warm. It barely even takes the chill off of the wipes. It claims to have a micro-antibacterial agent, however, you have to rewet and replace the pillow at the bottom of the wipe warmer every so often in order for this function to work. It recommends you rewet the pillow weekly. The thing that is a major pain about this is you have to constantly remove the wipes to check to see if the pillow is still wet. If it is not you have to remove the wipes, rewet it and replace the wipes. It is not as if it is automatically built in. It just adds one more thing to an already busy day when you have a little one. It seems this feature would be more usable if it was built into the interior casing rather than an additional piece you are responsible for tending to. It is an overpriced wipe warmer that works mediocre. I would definitely search for other warmers before paying for this one.
Small luxuries December 16, 2008 Spiff (Virginia, USA)
This is a worthwhile luxury, for the reduced flinching, being brought sharply awake in the middle of the night, and wiggling.
Great product; makes diaper changing so much better December 4, 2008 K. Abrokwa Before my baby was born, I thought the concept of wipes warmer was over the top and one of those unnecessary items stores make money off of when new parents are shopping for baby. Boy, was I wrong! For the first few weeks after my baby was born, I was dealing with screaming, peeing, and pooing all over me almost every time I changed her diaper. I knew the wipes felt cold in my hand, but I thought it was normal. After all, parents have been going without wipes warmers for decades, right? Well, that may be true, but all I can say is that after being fed up with stressful diaper changes for three weeks, I ordered the wipes warmer and things have been better ever since. It does require a once a week upkeep of the pillow (rinse and remoisten it), but it's worth it when you're changing 10-12 diapers a day and your baby is content. I highly recommend this product.
Great Warmer!! November 16, 2008 Mercedes Johnmeyer (Kingsland, GA) This warmer has been fantastic! No cold wipes on my little guys bum! When I bought this (before my son was even born) I bought a replacement pack of pillows, just to have, well, after 9 months I FINALLY changed the original pillow! As long as you keep it moist, you'll have no problems. I also bought the diaper depot to go with this so I can keep diapers and wipes together at all times, and the warmer itself elevated, so I'm not sure what this would do to a wood tabletop (I noticed some reviewers said it's ruined their furniture). It DOES get pretty warm on the bottom, and every time you have to open the top to refill, a little water will spill out. However, for the VERY few cons this product has...the pros definitely make up for it. Great product!
