Good W/Earplugs November 20, 2008 Michael C. Pyles (LA) I have to wear earplugs in the early morning hours in order to sleep through my crazy neighbor's blaring surround sound w/extra booming bass... that starts at 5:30 and ends at 7:45 when he's off to work... just as I'm getting up. With my old digital alarm clock, I would never hear it with my foam earplugs in, even when it was six inches from my head. The sonic boom is load enough to hear through the earplugs and if that doesn't work, the vibrator should arose you. It fits nicely in the corner of your pillow case. I now can put my noisy neighbor on ignore and not worry about being late for work.
Clock November 12, 2008 Elizabeth Gray This is better clock then other one that we used have and I am really happy with clock and other was no good for 2 1/2 year which was gave me hell waking me up middle of the night and this does not wake up you middle of night.
works great November 11, 2008 tracie p (San Rafael, CA United States) I needed an alarm clock that wouldn't wake up my baby sleeping in a crib in our room so I thought I'd try this one. I use only the vibrate function and it wakes me up quickly and quietly. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is, I wish it had a feature to adjust the force of the vibration, I don't need it to vibrate so strongly. But, if you are a heavy sleeper, this will do the trick!!
EARTHQUAKE November 2, 2008 Laura J. Hunt THIS VIBRATING ALARM CLOCK IS EXTREMELY LOUD! IT WORKS WELL FOR ME. I JUST NEED TO PUT IT ACROSS THE ROOM. I TEND TO SMACK IT AND THEN OVERSLEEP ANYWAY.
Wake up on time, finally! October 23, 2008 Bruce A. Hansen (Cape Elizabeth, ME USA) The Association of Medical Professionals With Hearing Losses recommended this alarm clock. Like other healthcare providers, I had not been able to hear my "normal" alarm clock, and was frequently late for appointments, or missed then completely. The Sonic Boom Vibrating Alarm Clock will not dissapoint. For the Deaf, the vibrating component shakes one right out of bed. The adjustable alarm sound is so extremely loud that turning it up risks even greater hearing loss. The Federal maximum noise level is 120 db, and this alarm tops out at 110 db. Explosive. This is the Gold Standard for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing. I recommend this alarm clck without any reservation. My patients are happy!
