| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Worldly ambient ethnic lounge music from Israel. Tracks heard hit compilation CDs Buddha Bar2, Barramundi, transatlantic lounging 4, Supperclub 4, Lotus Lounge Vol. 2, and more. A new age soundscape journey, incudes downtempo rhythms. Songs heard in the hit TV shows "Third Watch," "Sex and the City," "Real Sex," "M.D.'s", "Veritas," and "Robbery Homicide Division".

Sensual Music Evokes Eastern Mysticism November 26, 2007 Lisa Risa (Dallas, TX) The Way of the Mystic builds from contemplative complex melodies into faster rhythms like middle eastern dance music. Vocals are the sounds of a lone female voice. If you like Buddha Bar CD's you will enjoy all the CD's created by Angel Tears. It's great background music for activity, movement, dance, dinner party, doing the laundry. It's a little fast for tai chi or massage therapy sessions. The Way of The Mystic and The Vision are similar in that they are more middle eastern in rhythm and texture than The Dreaming. I read that the musicians are from the Middle East (Israel), which probably explains how they capture sophisticated, textured sounds that evoke an ancient time but also sound urgent and fresh. The Dreaming is my favorite in their catalog.
