Product Description Twilight is an action packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different and when her mother sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for: a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward and Bella do when James, Laurent and Victoria, the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? This is the first movie from the book series from author Stephanie Meyer. The series are currently some of the most popular books written for young adults, with sales exceeding 50 million copies worldwide since the Twilight debut in 2004 and over 7.7 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The fourth book in the series, Breaking Dawn, was released on August 2, 2008 and sold over 1.2 million units on the first day.
Album Description Every song on the Twilight soundtrack is featured in the movie. The soundtrack includes `Decode,' an exclusive song from Paramore written specifically for Twilight! 'I chose the title 'Decode' because the song is about the building tension, awkwardness, anger and confusion between Bella and Edward. Bella is the only mind Edward can't read and I feel like that's a big part of the first book and one of the obstacles for them to overcome. It's one added tension that makes the story even better.'-- Hayley Williams / Paramore.

For Twilight Fans January 6, 2009 J. Crawford (Oregon, Ohio United States) This was a gift for my daughter--a sincere Twilight fan. She loved the soundtrack!
Awesome CD! January 5, 2009 M. Traavik (Norway) Well, when i ordered this CD I did expect it to be good since i knew the songs, but it was even better!! The poster that followed with it was really cool :D It's totally worth the money!
Twilight: Early Winter Idyll January 4, 2009 W. Domme http://www.cinemaroll.com/Cinemarolling/Twilight-Early-Winter-Idyll.418205 The link is a review of the film. The music in the film was good but not intrinsic to the value of the film. The songs featured in the film could have just as easily been replaced by any moderate rock tunes. So, I think it is a pretty generic production.
Surprisingly addictive...like Twilight January 4, 2009 Belinda Crimson (Edmond, OK) After reading some of other people's reviews I thought I should write one myself... If you've read the books but haven't seen the movie, I don't think you should buy this soundtrack. I've read the books (and while I enjoyed them, I have issues with Bella's strength as a character) but I loved the movie (specifically the strength that Kristen Stewart brought to Bella) and therefore loved the soundtrack because I remember how the songs were matched up with the movie. Tracks 5-7 are a little iffy for me, I usually skip them, but I thought all the other tracks were great. I found it surprising how much I liked all of these bands that I've never heard of. I couldn't get enough of the Muse and Paramore. Also: a lot of people complain about Robert Pattinson's song, which is understandable--he does mumble a lot. But he's also mentioned that he gets some inspiration from Van Morrison. If you compare VM's and RP's versions of "I'll be your man" I think it'd help people see where he's coming from. So, considering who inspires him musically, I think Pattinson is a great musician and he shows a really different side of him (much more serious and intimate) than he does in his interviews--when he's really just joking around all the time. I would agree with the other reviewers that Bella's lullaby could have been a lot better suited for what people thought her lullaby should be like. I thought it would be more haunting--the book even specifically mentioned (or maybe it was in "Midnight Sun?") that the lullaby was sweet, but ended sadly, and the soundtrack's lullaby doesn't quite fit the bill. Still, it's not a bad song. Lastly, is it just me or is it weird that Meyer gets her inspiration from the Muse?? Personally, I never would have matched the Muse/Linkin Park with Twilight to begin with, so it's surprising to me that Meyer talks about this so much.
Amazing Music! January 4, 2009 I. Cowan (Hayward, Ca USA) I just ADORE all the music on this soundtrack (except Rob's, haha) It's exactly what I like....techno-ish Rock. I've loved paramore way before this and they are so talented! Don't even get me started on Rob Pattinson's song...it, to be honest, was VERY pathetic. I mean...it was--everyone knows what I'm talking it about. It's like the most boring song in the history of the earth. I kinda see what everyone's talking about how it didn't really match the feel of the book but I think that Bella would like those songs. And Edward (don't get me wrong i love him) I think his taste in music is weird. Who wouldn't like the songs from the 70s? I thought Bella's lullaby was beautiful. I thought it captured everything edward would've put into it. Simple yet touching and beautiful. And that piece of crap "River Flows In You" is the most repetitive music ever. It gets ANNOYING after the first verse because it's that same tuneless chord over and over again. I am so glad that they didn't pick it. Anyways I think that this soundtrack reflects Stephenie's taste in music probably more than Edward's and Bella's but it's good. Team Cullen 4ever!
