Product Description DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology lets you move freely around your home with long range and amazingly clear sound. It also assures greater protection against eavesdropping for all your calls. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, your phone will not conflict with other wireless devices such as computer routers, wireless keyboards, microwave ovens and other common household devices. Now you can program each handset to ring - or not - at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to night mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping. With three handsets included (one base and two chargers) and the option of adding up to three additional handsets - all while using only one base and one phone jack - go ahead and put one in the den, the kitchen, the master bedroom and the living room so you won't have to make a run for it when the phone rings.Don't miss important calls when the ringer is off. The light-up indicator with ringer alert at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. So turn off the ringer and never miss a call.

Great Phones! November 20, 2008 R. Ellis These are great phones for the price. They arrived quickly and programming them was very easy. However, I'm a little unhappy about not being able get a number from any of the phones caller ID if it is currently in use
Better than expected November 16, 2008 R. Reed (Georgia, USA) The Panasonic Dect 6.0, 3 handheld system works as advertised. Sound is fine with no iterference. The range is great, much better than expected from reading other reviews. The intercom is especially handy and easy to use. I like the voice mail indicators. If you don't need an answering machine, this is the way to go. I particularly like the fact that the rechargeable batteries are AAA, and easily available. Battery life is about one week before a recharge. I would definitely purchase it again.
Plagued by dropped calls November 16, 2008 Phone Crazy (San Francisco, CA.) If you are going to buy a DECT phone (no matter which brand) I would suggest you be sure to purchase from a place that has a great return policy. This technology seems to work fine for some people, but unfortunately I have fallen into the sizable camp of people for whom it does not work. No matter where we place the base, we end up having calls get dropped - several times a day. It's very annoying and frustrating. I had this problem first with Panasonic's spiffy bluetooth compatible DECT model (KX-TH1212B). Thinking maybe it was the bluetooth part that was causing the dropped calls, I switched to this simpler model, the KX-TG6311. It too suffers from the dropped call syndrome. When it works, it's great. But when it drops a call, you want to throw it at the wall. Read the Amazon user reviews of the KX-TH1212B for more on this -- as of today, 21 of the 46 reviews give it one star, predominantly because of the dropped call issue. And Panasonic's customer service people are clueless about this.
Panasonic KX-TG6313, Poor Address Book, Lock-up problems November 11, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Panasonic Dect 6.0 Expandable Digital Cordless Phone - 3 Handset System (KX-TG6313S) Phone system was a pleasure to use at first, with initial address book setup, but in adding, modifying, or deleting addresses, many 'not-found' situations soon developed. In addition, phones began to lockup when attempting to retrieve Voice Mail messages. Removing all phones' batteries and recharging all phone simultaneously had no effect in resolving problems. I would not purchase this phone again. P.S. Best Buy would not accept return of electronics after 30-day period. Panasonic equipment is obtainable at Kmart and Target with 90-day return priviledge. Avoid Best Buy's for electronics.
Pretty good unit October 4, 2008 S. Messionger (Midwest USA) I like it ,especially you could program it to not ringing for night, Easy to program numbers for it. Pretty clear voice on phone conversations, even far from base unit. Recommended to buy this, this is 2nd set i bought in 3 years.
