Intel today unveiled its new Core i3 and core5 of 32 nm. GPU (go with the integrated graphics chip) and are to be used as it showed the new chipsets H55, H57 and Q57.

So if we set one of these new processors on a board with these chipsets, graphics chips do not need, but it is integrated into the processor. From what I have read so far, its performance is better than the Intel 4500, but less than a ATI 4200 or nVidia 9400. But this is a sign, Intel is leading the way to integrate graphics into the processor chip.

He has turned the tables when nVidia was a few years ago that raised the opposite solution, ie the graphics chip to replace general-purpose processor.

This system will mount systems with ever smaller sizes and motherboards with fewer chips. In the notebooks come with strength, because in addition to micro adjust the consumption of graphics power consumption and computing power, all together, the batteries last longer.

In ChileHardware have been lucky enough to analyze one of these new processors, namely Intel Core i5 661, highly recommended reading.
