At last we have a new motherboard in ATX format that is able to support Intel’s new socket micros 1156 series i3, i5 and i7.
And of course, is Intel the first to unveil this plaque. In Missingremote have proven time and we can read his impressions in this analysis. He has attracted much attention particularly low consumption of the whole. They had it connected to a power 150w. and had no problems.
I’ve since looked at the lists of our suppliers and have seen this board and in a few entry sites for late next week. So, as had long been hoping for something similar, because I have three PCs configured with this motherboard:
– I3 Micro hFX: a system mounted in a box hFX. In this way we get a very compact team with no fan spinning inside.
– Segona Mini i3: Silverstone SG05 box, very quiet, thanks to its single 12cm fan. and the little noise that the official Intel heatsink. Also going with a 1 tera hard disk 5900 rpm. low noise level.
– Segona Mini i5: Silverstone SG06 box, just as quiet as its predecessor. But now with an i5 661 with a hard disk of 2 teras.
And this is just the beginning. I hope that when there is something more than availability of these plates, and the price drops a bit, we have many more very small systems, but good power, thanks to these buses that consume very little and so small these motherboards. It is happening to me a system with powerful graphical and yet another for a smaller size yet.
