Gorgeous and famous, but really rich

A large tops the economic crisis not only affects them but their interest. Forbes has returned to take its annual list of highest paid models and on the podium to honor three classics are back: Gisele Bundchen, repeating once again as the richest in the ranking, with 25 million dollars a year, Heidi Klum, who pocketed 16 million in 2009 and finally Kate Moss, with the not inconsiderable sum of 9 million.

It is the second consecutive year that these three tops topping the list and the reason seems to be exactly the recession, that both affect the rest of mortals. In difficult times larger firms are unwilling to seek new faces, by contrast prefer safe bet, hence all sign contracts worth millions when the economy went through its worst time.

While the career of a professional model usually does not extend beyond thirty, both Kate Moss as Heidi Klum have been met and 36 and their plans do not seem to enter retirement, done both live their best.

Another Brazilian, Adriana Lima, 28, and one in the Netherlands, Doutzen Kroes, 25, occupy the fourth and fifth respectively. The only American on the list is Carolyn Murphy, another veteran usual image thirties and Estee Lauder, who closes the ranking of the ten highest paid three and a half million.
