Haute Couture visits Madrid

Although the haute couture show is only held in Paris, these days everyone who is close to Madrid may also enjoy these works of art of fashion.

The exhibition “The Golden Age of Haute Couture” captures some of these unique garments belonging to the private collection “Montpalau Antoni.” A total of 71 dresses, 23 hats, seven pairs of shoes and 29 drawings, integrating this unique, which may be seen until November 28 at the Museum of Costume in Madrid.

Balenciaga Loewe Pertegaz are some of the creators of these timeless pieces, whose greatest treasure is a dress for Lavin, held open house at Barcelona between 1920 and 1932, and two historic pieces of Pedro Rodriguez, a wedding dress salmon in 1929 and a jacket, 1927.
