Wearing the Goya film exposure

The love affair between footwear and film comes from afar, in shows such as Sex and the City or in movies like Marie Antoinette, which shows some Converse in mid-eighteenth century, the shoes have a central role.

Coinciding with the forthcoming appointment of the Goya Awards, just opened the exhibition “Goya’s Shoes,” where some of the most important footwear designers of the country are creations inspired by the films of Spanish cinema.

Armand Bassi, Pura López, Pretty Ballerinas, Sara Navarro, Magrit, among others, use exotic skins, premium materials and even precious stones to pay particular tribute to his seventh art.

Many of these spectacular models to the exhibition will go out and step on the red carpet at the Goya Awards gala to be held on Sunday 14 February, so attentive to the feet of the guests for more than one will fit these precious museum pieces.
